I'm hosting from North East England which is still bright and at times warm. Colours are starting to look more autumnal with each day

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel I am in Amesbury; waiting for the leaves to really turn. Are they a little late this year?

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith Yes, I think so. I hope autumn isn't shorter as a result. I love this season and its a slim window of opportunity in normal years #PTTravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie that's Queen's Park, about 9am yesterday morning, half an hour before Parkrun. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel There was a lady on the radio this morning who said it's because we haven't had a frost yet?

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot I should be on my way to Pakistan but not now. Next month should be India & possibly Bangladesh but visa times are 9 weeks so could throw my travel upside down #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Ooof. Is that because you need a work visa and they're slower to get? #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a1: there's that point where the darkness is longer than the daylight, where the streetlights come on in the evenings rather than late at night.

replying to @DrKerryS @DrKerryS @kate_frankie It reminds me very much of (and probably because it is!), one of those grand Victorian-era boulevards into an ornate green area. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie
@kate_frankie #pttravel a1: what do i look forward to? Not the detritus on the pavements, that's for sure :p
I love the crunch of leaves underfoort though.

A1 #PTTravel Woodsmoke! And, I really look forward to those colours ... and Bonfire Night!

A1 #pttravel Itās sunny, but itās cooler. Some areas like where Iām at now, thatās a good thing, also crowds are way down like at La Sagrada Familia the other day.

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith Of course. I've only noticed a bit of condensation on a morning very recently #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. For me itās the crisp air, the colourful leaves, the crunching under foot, the spiced lattes, the dramatic sunsets and the dark nights. I love it all. #PTTravel

replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish That's Beamish, close to where I live #PTTravel

@DrKerryS @NomadKeith that's something i've only ever done in the usa #pttravel
not because it's more an american thing, but i think more because that's the only place I've been in a friend group where they'd felt that's a standard thing to do

replying to @DrKerryS @DrKerryS Chunky knitwear is out for me now! I love this cardigan. Layers of cosy clothing and boots are my favourite things about it turning cooler #PTTravel

replying to @DrKerryS @DrKerryS #pttravel Not keen on marshmallows. Our food of choice on Bonfire Night was roast chestnuts and treacle toffee.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @DrKerryS oh i'm not there yet! It'll soon be time for long sleeves, though. #pttravel
