replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel Glasgow, Scotland. Pic from yesterday's Parkrun; no my lens did not need cleaning.
A1 #pttravel One that exceeded my expectations was the Eiffel Tower. People said I didn’t need to do it, but I’m glad I did. I even saw Putin’s procession go by as he was also in town.

replying to @RTWBarefoot #pttravel a2: does this count? Statue of the Duke of Wellington, complete with traffic cone. Definitely a famous landmark.
replying to @RTWBarefoot #pttravel Glasgow University's a bit of a landmark, cos it's quite impressive.
A2 #pttravel I’m not sure how famous they really are, but there is the 4.1 mile Astoria Megler Bridge that takes US Highway 101 to Washington. Also there’s Haystack Rock down the road in Cannon Beach.

A2- #CrabIsland near 🇺🇸#Destin. An underwater sandbar where the water is about waist deep. You can only get there by boat.

A3 #pttravel Sydney was always a place I wanted to visit because I wanted to see both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
