replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I was in Sydney for NYE 2013. I was able to see the fireworks, go up in the Blue Mountains & take a tour of the Opera House. #pttravel

replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW I like those views and any from up high, despite being scared of heights. I don't know if I'd do the ones with see-through floors 😳😱 #PTTravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot I've seen that too and it was great. I think it must be one of the most famous rivers #PTTravel

Q5 Which landmarks would you like to see in future and where can you find them?

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie yes. Rivers are definitely landmarks, and my impression is some of US culture is defined by which side of it you're on. #pttravel (like radio station names!)

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: following on from the last question, there's certainly a couple of rivers i'd like to see. Probably top of those lists are the Paraguay River, the Congo River, and the Yenesei.

A5 #pttravel I knocked a few off the list this year. I’d still like to see Machu Picchu, the Egyptian Pyramids & Taj Mahal among others.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie is it a landmark? I mean, anything is a landmark. I use railway stations as landmarks around the Greater Glasgow area. I'm sure you're allowed a tree.

A6 #pttravel One thing I always recommend is see if you can buy tickets ahead online rather than standing in line. I bought tickets online for both the Gateway Arch & Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid & saved myself a lot of time doing it.

A6 I would say manage your expectations. Not all landmarks are created equal and some end up being tourist traps. Accept there will be crowds and book ahead. Go and see for yourself
