Q3 What does being out of your comfort zone while travelling mean to you personally?

A3: Almost every time I travel I am out of my comfort zone because I hate flying. Being on a plane doesn't feel natural, but I still do it because I love to travel once I'm back on the ground. #PTTravel

A3 #PTTravel Being somewhere I am completely unfamiliar with & another language being spoken. Having to figure out how to go from one place to another & getting it wrong. That’s why I couldn’t do without my phone. It’s my navigator.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. For me it’s more social than anything. I try to push myself to speak to people in tour groups and on long journeys, but I’m not always in the mood to make the effort. #PTTravel

A3 #PTTravel I really couldn't answer that one. I've been in a situation where I couldn't speak the language, and not many people spoke English, but I didn't really feel uncomfortable.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 For me, I suffer with anxiety, so being out of my comfort zone is having no safety net. Trusting strangers with my safety (transport/tour guides etc). If the basics are there for me, I’m then generally fairly chilled about what I see and do 😅 #pttravel
