RT @aok_NW: A4 #pttravel I’ll go as far as necessary. I’ve flown to Australia & South Africa, those were my two longest flights.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie 4) I think 12/13 hours to some SEA destinations like HK, Tokyo & Singapore is my limit non-stop #PTTravel
replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie I don't like long flights, and much prefer to transfer. #pttravel
replying to @FE_photograph @FE_photograph @kate_frankie I'm not affluent enough for that kind of luxury! #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I’m keen to fly to Australia (via Singapore) but absolutely dreading the journey itself. Anything over four hours is a struggle for me, but it didn’t stop me making two trips to the States. #PTTravel
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie i've found a few times this year that being flexible with dates and booking direct with airlines that the business option can be cheaper than economy #pttravel

@findinganeish @kate_frankie I was thinking about this a few years ago, and I realised it was possible to fly from UK to Australia via a series of short hops on budget airlines.
I suspect it would work out more expensive, but it would be interesting. #pttravel
replying to @FE_photograph @FE_photograph @RTWBarefoot That's really interesting! I've had that before with trains but not flights. Which destinations? #PTTravel
replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW How did you cope with them? Are you able to sleep on flights? #PTTravel

Q5 What would you improve in airports or in flights to make the experience better and why?
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie Oh, really? It’s something I would definitely consider. I’d be an absolute wreck after flying direct. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: make airport food and drink cheaper, comparable with the world outside. For obvious reasons.
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish I can’t sleep well, but sometimes I can nod off. I take entertainment my tablet filled with movies & reading. You just have to keep a sense of humor. #pttravel
replying to @findinganeish @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie The flight back would at least give me something new to worry about, apart from the spiders. #PTTravel
A4 - I would fly anywhere! Distance doesn’t bother me at all, but I would think twice before booking a flight with lots of long or inconvenient transfers. I’d rather break up a trip like that over a few days by adding stopovers. #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A5: a more open and clarified pricing structure for flights.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @RTWBarefoot this year I went to Nice on a sat and then on to Corsica on the mon and then flew back the following sun. It was cheaper to do that on business than to fly on the Friday economy #pttravel

replying to @FE_photograph @kate_frankie @RTWBarefoot to either destination #pttravel
A5 - This one is so easy! Airports need more places to step outside and get fresh air! I ❤️ when a lounge has an outdoor terrace, but you shouldn’t have to be in business class to get a breather. #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. A roof terrace or garden would make a world of difference, in my opinion. In the airport, obviously. Not sure it’d work for the flight. Mostly though I just want a charging socket and a comfortable seat. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: more airports with ... mini-hotels inside them, where you can sleep during a transfer instead of milling around the airport for 7 hours.
