A3 I don't know. I realise I made the qu! This is tough esp for work. I hate the really long haul, tiring flights mainly due to not getting any sleep & being uncomfortable. Saying that, I would absolutely go for a room upgrade if I could.
Depends on the trip.

@kate_frankie I flew business on my most recent flight. I calculated the amount I'd've spent on equivalent food/drink was enough for me to consider it worthwhile.
This was A Good Plan as my bank card disintegrated the day before my flight so I'd've been unable to buy owt anyway! #pttravel

@kate_frankie #pttravel a5: i solo pretty much everywhere anyway, for self-evident reasons.
That said, having a trusted companion would be useful for some evening chats and for content creation. Decent solo selfies are awkward (tripod & timer, repeat 7 times till satisfied or give up).

A6 #PTTravel I look at it this way. You can’t do anything about wait times in airports, I’d take the refunds so I can put that money toward future travel.
