replying to @last_adventurer @last_adventurer Isle Royale has EMT-certified backcountry rangers patrolling the trails for just this reason - in the event of an emergency, you may not have the chance to medivac someone to the mainland, given time to find them, call in a helicopter, and then get them to the hospital. #ParkChat

But it does get into the 40s at night and not everyone with me was used to that. Always something to keep in mind. Most people just think desert=hot. Not true. #ParkChat
