Pirates, Spies and the Parks

Q6. You know if you find pirate treasure (or any treasure for that matter) on public lands, it’s not yours to keep. How do you feel about that? That said, what would you want the treasure to be? Gold? Crystals? A secret passage? #ParkChat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6 I'm ok with that, although it would be tempting to keep a bullet, arrowhead, etc. Tell the rangers. #ParkChat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6) We'd be more than excited to (randomly) find Forrest Fenn's treasure! #parkchat https://t.co/pbUDKqWOzZ
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6. As a ranger I understand it’s important to protect the treasures. But as a human a few gold coins wouldn’t hurt #ParkChat

@Wild_Tribute A6. Honestly think I'd be fine not keeping it. But, if it was a big piece of gold, maybe that USSA Gold Pass. :)

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6) I'm fine with it, I've had my fill of dealing with lawyers & a accountants to last numerous lifetimes. 😠 #ParkChat
A6 I'm with King Solomon on this one; I would rather have wisdom than riches or power #parkchat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6 12 billion $$ in large bills to take care of deferred maintenance backlog 😬 #ParkChat
replying to @RCGibby73 @RCGibby73 @59NationalParks @Wild_Tribute A6: Stumbling upon Native American rock art is always an inspiring experience. And always a treasure to leave undisturbed. #ParkChat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6: An exception to this is #Whiskeytown NRA where you can buy a gold panning permit for $1. It's good for a year and as long as you follow certain rules you can keep what you find. #ParkChat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6) There's plenty treasure within The @DryTortugasNPS , literally, there are hundreds of shipwrecks and the most iconic, Fort Jefferson but most importantly, and what I treasure most and want to keep, is the Marine Life, Migratory Birds and simply being there! #ParkChat
replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6 A huge chest of gold coins - that I would then use to protect a large area of imperiled land. #ParkChat
