Q6. You know if you find pirate treasure (or any treasure for that matter) on public lands, it’s not yours to keep. How do you feel about that? That said, what would you want the treasure to be? Gold? Crystals? A secret passage? #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6 I'm ok with that, although it would be tempting to keep a bullet, arrowhead, etc. Tell the rangers. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6) We'd be more than excited to (randomly) find Forrest Fenn's treasure! #parkchat https://t.co/pbUDKqWOzZ

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6. As a ranger I understand it’s important to protect the treasures. But as a human a few gold coins wouldn’t hurt #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6. Honestly think I'd be fine not keeping it. But, if it was a big piece of gold, maybe that USSA Gold Pass. :)

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6: An exception to this is #Whiskeytown NRA where you can buy a gold panning permit for $1. It's good for a year and as long as you follow certain rules you can keep what you find. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A6) There's plenty treasure within The @DryTortugasNPS , literally, there are hundreds of shipwrecks and the most iconic, Fort Jefferson but most importantly, and what I treasure most and want to keep, is the Marine Life, Migratory Birds and simply being there! #ParkChat
