replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute I donโt know about in the NPS, but Iโd say that the Mississippi is integral to so much of American history. Here it is at @VicksburgNPS. #FindYourPark #ParkChat.

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A1) In Minneapolis there's a National River & Recreation Area that celebrates a river that I'm not sure if many a familiar with, called the Mississippi. ๐ #ParkChat

A1 It doesn't really pass through #nationalparks but it is surrounded by public lands: the mighty Mississippi River. I feel this one defines much of our country in the past and today. #ParkChat

Well, we just got back from visiting two: @ObedNPS and @BigSouthForkNPS on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennesse. Both rivers are steeped in both history and terrain. #ParkChat

A2 Well I can name one: the Chattaooga Wild and Scenic River. I've been whitewater rafting on that river. No, that is not me in the photo. I captured the photo. #ParkChat

A2) Great Egg Harbor SRR, and an actual photo from said place from this summer! It was way to rainy to enjoy much more, but we hear the paddling downstream is actually a great and easy adventure. #parkchat #NJ #Pinebarrens @Visit_NJ

@Wild_Tribute Taking a boat out on the River of Grass is always fun.
