replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute I donโ€™t know about in the NPS, but Iโ€™d say that the Mississippi is integral to so much of American history. Here it is at @VicksburgNPS. #FindYourPark #ParkChat.

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A1) In Minneapolis there's a National River & Recreation Area that celebrates a river that I'm not sure if many a familiar with, called the Mississippi. ๐Ÿ˜ #ParkChat

A1 It doesn't really pass through #nationalparks but it is surrounded by public lands: the mighty Mississippi River. I feel this one defines much of our country in the past and today. #ParkChat

Well, we just got back from visiting two: @ObedNPS and @BigSouthForkNPS on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennesse. Both rivers are steeped in both history and terrain. #ParkChat

A2 Well I can name one: the Chattaooga Wild and Scenic River. I've been whitewater rafting on that river. No, that is not me in the photo. I captured the photo. #ParkChat

A2) Great Egg Harbor SRR, and an actual photo from said place from this summer! It was way to rainy to enjoy much more, but we hear the paddling downstream is actually a great and easy adventure. #parkchat #NJ #Pinebarrens @Visit_NJ

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute Taking a boat out on the River of Grass is always fun.

(It took me three questions to mention the Everglades and her nickname. Iโ€™m ashamed. It should have taken less. ๐Ÿ˜‚) #FindYourPark #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3: Flaming Gorge is reservoir formed by a dam in the Green River. It's depths are beautiful and clear with a hint of gem. Nothing like cutting through the glass on summer day. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3) The best river adventure in the National Parks is probably at Grand Canyon down the Colorado though walking the Narrows along the Virgin River in Zion is pretty good and quite a bit cheaper. #ParkChat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks A5: I would love to raft the Colorado through the Grand Canyon. My grandparents did it in a little motor boat before Lake Powell was formed. #ParkChat
