Q2 #ParkChat The @NatlParkService identifies 9 National Parks as “river centered” and protects 7 “wild & scenic” rivers. How many can you name? If you visited any of them, what was special about the river(s)?

Q4 #ParkChat One of my travel goals is to float the Missouri River at Missouri Breaks NM in #Montana. Are there any Park or #PublicLand Rivers that you long to go in depth (pun intended) on? Any plans?

Q6 #ParkChat We have “3,200 free-flowing river segments in the United States that are believed to possess one or more "outstandingly remarkable" natural or cultural values judged to be at least regionally significant”. Why is this important? We can we do to keep rivers flowing?

Q7. Fishing or Fly Fishing enthusiasts can tab a river as legendary for its stockpiles. Is there a trophy river for such? What Park or National Forest is its home? #ParkChat

Q8 #ParkChat Gorges are tied closely to rivers. Gorges, therefore, are common. There are more than 100 just in Utah. Yet, the Gorge gets little love. Only one Park Unit is named for one. We need a new Park named after Gorge, right? Which one(s) would make for a great Park Unit?

Q10 #ParkChat So I was confused about the difference between a gorge and a canyon while researching this chat. Then I read “the Grand Canyon is a gorge” and my head almost blew up. Can anybody help me?

Q11. Dams are the enemy of a wild river and gorge. But they also are engineering marvels and sights to behold in of themselves. What are the future of dams? Do you think if we could rewind time, knowing what we know now, would there be as many dams as there are today? #ParkChat
