Q9. River towns often are the most charming with fantastic history. Any such towns come to mind with an association/proximity to our National Parks and public lands? #ParkChat

A9 Harpers Ferry came to mind the instant I saw the question - even before I read the whole thing #parkchat

A9. I'd think anything on the Mississippi or Missouri. Thinking about Mark Twain and Lewis & Clark sites. #ParkChat

A9. The rise and fall of @HarpersFerryNPS and all its history is interconnected with the two majestic rivers that join together in union in its shadow. #ParkChat https://t.co/SY6GQdtwmd

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A9. Harper's Ferry, WV. Perfect combination of water, history, and old buildings. It's also an early example in the US of people having to relocate homes due to flooding. #parkchat
