replying to @PhotoBre @PhotoBre @GalsWander If you like to hike, or want a great roadtrip, either hike Long Trail (the forerunner of the Appalachian Trail) or drive VT-100 up the spine of the Greens from MA to the Canada line. (Of course, make a stop in Burlington, too.) Then pick a return route through NH or ME #ParkChat

replying to @t_jh2009 @t_jh2009 A10) What some would consider the worst was probably the best for me. I white-knuckled my way to Logan Pass on Going-to-the-Sun @GlacierNPS on my first visit, and if it weren't for how congested it was (and subsequently slow-going) I would have no doubt freaked out. #ParkChat

A10) I tend to go places off season, during weekdays. I've had pretty great luck on that front. Occasional flag men here and there but I'm one of those weirdos that loves stopping at flag men for some reason! I don't know why it just feels like an awesome break haha! 🤓 #ParkChat

A11: We travel full-time, so a bit of both. We plan about a month out, and it changes constantly. But the biggest thing for us is campgrounds. As far as day-to-day hikes and activities, we scope things out on day one and then decide the next few days. #ParkChat https://t.co/tQhdvDG1we

replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove Call and ask the park when they are scheduled to grade the road. Last time I was there (hmm, March was it?), they had just done that there and in Titus Canyon a few weeks prior. Not sure what their normal schedule is or if that was more unusual. #ParkChat
