Q7. Fire, Pine Beetle, and other natural forces can create an eye sore (albeit natural for the general cycle of healthy forests) that’s hard to stomach. Any places in particular come to mind where you wish restoration to their full glory in your lifetime? #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A7) I've been going to Tunnel View in Yosemite NP for over 35 years and it sad to see the damage Pine Beetle has done. Luckily there's funding going on to help restore the area. #ParkChat

A7 Mesa Verde, unlike other national parks, did not implement control burns due to the omnipresence of archeological resources, and this has resulted in large wildfires that burned two-thirds of the park’s area within the last 15 years. #parkchat
