replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3) Mt. Sunflower in Kansas! #parkchat "Kansas gradually increases in elevation from the east to the west. As such, 'Mount' Sunflower, while the highest point in the state in terms of elevation, is virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding terrain."

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3) Wow, I'm an eco-freak so I would say too many to count but here in WA state alone Baker, Stuart. St. Helens, Adams. In Oregon Hood, all of the Steens and undoubtedly many more. This is NOT a national park 👇#ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3) I've felt that if California didn't always have the numbers of NPS areas it has then Mt Diablo would be part of the Park Service because of now only its wilderness but the vista views from the summit which have been said to be the best in the United States. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute In the lower 48 Mount Drumm could have had its own Park. Too bad it’s in @WrangellStENPS #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A3 Mt St Helens for sure could warrant a full USNPS designation - so much geology, history and devastating beauty. #ParkChat

A2 I summited Rainier a bazillion years ago. Guess that’s the highest I’ve been in a national park. 14,411 feet. #parkchat This pic is taken from Burroughs Mountain.

Sorry #parkchat friends! I'm just sitting down to dinner so I'm going to have to catch up on a mountain of questions in a little bit.

In the meantime, who's planning to come and summit Lassen Peak @LassenNPS with me?

A4 I LOVE chasing #waterfalls. Some of the best I've ever come across were in the North Georgia mountains. Moccasin Creek, Anna Ruby, Vogel, and Helton Creek Falls. #ParkChat @ExploreGeorgia

A4: Grand Lake is just that, Grand, nestled on the edge of RMNP and Cascade Falls on the East Inlet Trail is a nice site and relaxing to snack next to #ParkChat

A4 The scenery below Wheeler Peak in @GreatBasinNPS is staggering! You would never guess by Baker, Nevada that you would find such beauty! #ParkChat
