replying to @SouthernerSays @SouthernerSays I can never recommend Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park enough. Looking down at peaks higher than tallest in nearly every state. For those reading this, drive it early in summer before thunderclouds gather. #ParkChat

A2 I summited Rainier a bazillion years ago. Guess that’s the highest I’ve been in a national park. 14,411 feet. #parkchat This pic is taken from Burroughs Mountain.

Sorry #parkchat friends! I'm just sitting down to dinner so I'm going to have to catch up on a mountain of questions in a little bit.

In the meantime, who's planning to come and summit Lassen Peak @LassenNPS with me?

replying to @DryTortugasFilm @DryTortugasFilm @Wild_Tribute That's also true of a number of "sky island" mountains here in Arizona. Several you can go from sonoran desert to alpine in just an hour's drive. #parkchat
