replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks A6: I had a nasty fear of heights when I was younger. But I also have a stubborn, adventurous streak. As long as I have sure footing and stay mindful of exactly where I am, I'll be fine. Example: I had to stand on the edge of a cliff to get this! https://t.co/KATu68uR88 #ParkChat

A6 We decided not to tow our camper over the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado, opting not to chance that pass with a camper in tow.

Bonnie is afraid of heights and the idea of hiking Angel’s Landing in @ZionNPS is terrifying to her. Might be a solo hike for me! #ParkChat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks A6 Million Dollar highway (US 550) south of Ouray has some hairy turns. Just hang on and pay attention to the driving. But i don't think heights have deterred me in the mountains.

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks A6. I'm more afraid of stepping off the roof and onto the ladder of my one-story home than I am standing a foot or so from the edge of a long drop off. Can't explain it. #parkchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A7 #parkchat Not sure it's my most memorable, but someone jokingly told me to "summit" Mt Sunflower as I was driving through Kansas.

So I did, and it was hilarious enough that I've been seeking out High Points of Otherwise Flat States ever since! https://t.co/ck6v084gpz
