replying to @aubreylenae16 @aubreylenae16 I have always been split on interp/natural resource management/law enforcement. But I love being on front lines & interacting w/ people who share same passions I have. It’s a constant reminder of meaning of the work. Generally done more of the visitor services/interp. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute I came across a maintenance crew working at @VicksburgNPS. They were using a flame thrower to repair the protective wax on bronze statues and plaques. THAT looked awesome! #ParkChat

replying to @aubreylenae16 @aubreylenae16 A3. I remember returning from first road trip through the Rockies that included a bunch of NPS sites thinking I wanted to be a park ranger. It was quickly explained I may be able to become one, but I wouldn't have first crack at, say, Glacier. That bummed me out a bit. #parkchat

Q4 #ParkChat The biggest benefit in many people's opinion is that us park rangers get to have public lands quite literally as our backyards, as most of us live where we work. What would you be the most excited about if you had this opportunity?
