A7) Loop Road in Big Cypress National Preserve is a real treat of a drive! Escape the highway by taking this scenic drive deep in the the preserve. #Alligator sightings are nearly guaranteed! Did Al Capone own a speakeasy off the road? You'll have to go to find out! #ParkChat

I also need to get back up to Olympic myself, which I say regularly too.

Q8) Most park visitors rarely travel more than a mile from their cars. Yet, the majority of our National Parks are wilderness.

What trail do you enjoy exploring that gives you and other visitors a feel for the wilderness? #ParkChat

Once walked from Balanced Rock in Arches NP to Park Avenue - south end, about 7 miles, right down the middle of the road - at night. Peak summer season, did not see another car or person. Very memorable walk. #parkchat
