replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A6: The Ute Trail from Milner Pass in RMNP is surprisingly light trafficked. We saw only two other people on our hike. Everyone else diverted up to Mt Ida or just hung out at the Divide #ParkChat

A7) Loop Road in Big Cypress National Preserve is a real treat of a drive! Escape the highway by taking this scenic drive deep in the the preserve. #Alligator sightings are nearly guaranteed! Did Al Capone own a speakeasy off the road? You'll have to go to find out! #ParkChat

A7 We used to drive the Inside Road in the North Fork of Glacier for a challenging pothole road adventure, but several years ago, floods washed out the central section. Now, we bike it. #ParkChat

A7 Not a lot of people know about the Foothills Parkway at @GreatSmokyNPS, although it did get a jolt of attention when a new section opened this past autumn. I have not driven the new section yet. #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes Not a National Park but the loop road at @BigCypressNPS is well off the beaten path and an amazing drive. Plus it’s easy to scare your wife by parking next to an alligator. #ParkChat #Florida

A8 I'm a BIG fan of the #AppalachianTrail. I've spent days hiking the trail through Virginia and the Roan Highlands of Tennessee that really shows you what the Appalachian wilderness is all about. #ParkChat
