Q3) We all know the popular National Parks, but what is your favorite off the beaten path National Park you have or would like to visit and why? #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3) Big Bend is "popular" but not REALLY popular. I prefer National Forests to avoid the crowds (usually in New Mexico or Oklahoma/Arkansas) #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3: Guadalupe Mountains is a low visited Park and I’d love to hike to the top of Texas (Guadalupe Peak) or in McKittrick Canyon #ParkChat

A3) We would LOVE to visit American Samoa. For now, @DryTortugasNPS wins for most #offthebeatenpath I think. #ParkChat

A3) We haven't been there, but from our #Alaska planning, we would love to do the week long group hike out of the crater at Aniakchak NM & PRES to the Bering Sea. #Parkchat #All50Before40 @AniakchakNPS

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3) One of my favorite off the beaten path National Parks is @GreatBasinNPS in Nevada near the Utah border. It takes some time to get there but its worth it. #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3 #parkchat Oh man, you want me to pick just one?! Well, I'll go with some parks where you can just wander off on your own path, like White Sands and Petrified Forest

A3. Has to be anything outside the borders of the Lower 48. But we’ll also include any of the Backcountry in @YellowstoneNPS and the northwestern section of @GlacierNPS here as well. #ParkChat

RT @AlongfortheTrip: A3) We would LOVE to visit American Samoa. For now, @DryTortugasNPS wins for most #offthebeatenpath I think. #ParkChat…

A3 @PinnaclesNPS is probably my favorite #offthebeatenpath park with condors and trails that have footholds carved into rocks is super cool #parkchat

A3 My fave off the beaten path NP is @Troosevelt in North Dakota. So much wildlife and badlands scenery. #parkchat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes #parkchat A3 how about a shout out to @BlackCanyonNPS or COLO? Close to one another and less busy by far. And boy the views impress! 😍

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3. Well @BigSouthForkNPS doesn't get much love because its designated a National Recreation Area instead of a National Park, but its a true hidden gem. #ParkChat https://t.co/tiI4zEpnl6

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3) @DenaliNPS because I'd like to see the Northern Lights and the season's change, also the wildlife and starry skies! #Parkchat #OffthebeatenPath I highly reccomend @DryTortugasNPS and @Volcanoes_NPS because they are way out of the way and completely worth the effort!

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3. Capital Reef. The other four UT NPs are kind of paired off and this one in between gets forgotten. #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3 My favorite "off the beaten path" park is @NCascadesNPS - so much of the park is incredibly remote! Other OBP parks I'd love to visit include @BlackCanyonNPS and @LakeClarkNPS #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3. We birded Big Bend many years ago. Fond memories of my first desert experience. I have a desire to see Lassen Volcanic Park. Volcanic landscapes are so interesting. #parkchat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes a3) capitol reef is one of my faves, i would love to visit st. john virgin islands and still need to get to channel islands #Parkchat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3. Olympic Hot Springs - great trail in, rustic small springs. A must do. #ParkChat
