Q6) Time to get personal. What is one of your favorite experiences in a National Park that isn’t at a popular, well-known area? #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A6) I honestly couldn't say what's "Popular" but I TRULY loved my hike on the Ozette Triangle - very few people in the spring. Olympic has such variety, and hot spots and less hot spots. this seemed less hot. #ParkChat

A6 Cesar Chavez NM a couple years ago, b/c Mrs. Fisher had never heard of Cesar Chavez, one of the greatest Americans in history, it was great that @NatlParkService gave us the opportunity to learn about him, cause they don't teach about him in school #parkchat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A6 #ParkChat Too many to recount, but Brown v Board of Education had a big impact on me. Wupatki might have sparked my love for the national parks to begin with. Canyonlands got me into kayaking and river trips.

I have the National Parks to thank for vast areas of my life.

A6. There are many, but most recently, Halls Canyon in @CapitolReefNPS. It has all of the #Mighty5 in one hike (have to imagine the hoodoos though) #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A6: The Ute Trail from Milner Pass in RMNP is surprisingly light trafficked. We saw only two other people on our hike. Everyone else diverted up to Mt Ida or just hung out at the Divide #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A6 The beaches of @OlympicNP are popular in the summer, but they are very different and little traveled locations in the winter! The roar of crashing surf and the thump of rolling logs being thrown about by the waves is unforgettable. #ParkChat https://t.co/7WA6yOPCmW
