replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3. Capital Reef. The other four UT NPs are kind of paired off and this one in between gets forgotten. #ParkChat

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @BigSouthForkNPS I have only heard incredible things about it! Glad to hear that the rumors are true! #ParkChat

replying to @louisbink @louisbink @Exotichikes @SagamoreHillNHS It's all still there! #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A3 My favorite "off the beaten path" park is @NCascadesNPS - so much of the park is incredibly remote! Other OBP parks I'd love to visit include @BlackCanyonNPS and @LakeClarkNPS #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A4 #ParkChat Some of the more moving visitor centers are the ones that tell personal stories. The one at Brown v Board of Education NHS in Topeka, KS really opened my eyes, as did Selma to Montgomery NHT and Manzanar. Tuskegee Airman is an interesting mix of stories & planes.

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax I completely agree about the miles. It's one of the thing that motivates me to stay fit! #ParkChat

Q5) Back outside we go. Many Parks have well-known, easy trails that help introduce visitors to the landscape and history of the region. What is a short, #offthebeatenpath trail that you feel is equally awesome that doesn’t get the crowds or fame? #ParkChat

replying to @ParksandPoints @ParksandPoints @louisbink @Exotichikes @SagamoreHillNHS Sagamore Hill is definitely an underrated NHS in my opinion. #parkchat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes The North Unit of @TRooseveltNPS has a small but interesting VC which focuses on local history and geology. Every time we’ve been there we had the place to ourselves. #ParkChat

replying to @DryTortugasFilm @DryTortugasFilm @59NationalParks @Exotichikes @Wild_Tribute Our family was just in Florida too - it was a fantastic time to see manatees in @FLStateParks #ParkChat

A4 At @VicksburgNPS they have a partial restoration of the ironclad USS Cairo beneath a massive white tent with a small museum to explore. It was fascinating! #ParkChat

replying to @Exotichikes @Exotichikes A2: traveling in the offseason has worked so well for us! We had most of @ChacoCultureNHP all to ourselves in October. Ditto @DeathValleyNPS death in April. It was just us and the pup fish at sunset. #ParkChat

replying to @AlongfortheTrip @AlongfortheTrip @DryTortugasNPS You'll never get more off-the-beaten-path than if you make it to the Manu'a Islands Unit of @Amer_SamoaNPS - it took me two days and four connections to fly from the Manu'a Islands to Miami! But so worth it! #ParkChat

Q6) Time to get personal. What is one of your favorite experiences in a National Park that isn’t at a popular, well-known area? #ParkChat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks @AniakchakNPS We'd love to go someday soon, I think we now have like 30 weeks of trips we want to take in #Alaska parks. #ParkChat
