replying to @shreddel @shreddel @Adventuringgal I kinda agree with @Adventuringgal You really have to know your mushrooms or foraging for them can be dangerous. Chicken of the woods is pretty safe since it grows in trees. Stay away from red ones with white spots, those are poisonous amanitas. #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

I love cooking over a campfire, and then eating breakfast in the wilderness.

replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund @BigBendNPS Have you fished for salmon there? #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

replying to @FoodTravelChat @FoodTravelChat A5 I got rave reviews from harossa lamb kabobs once and have been known to hike in with frozen flank steak and seasonings to whip up tacos. But hey, I may consider this one my specialty. ;) #girlcarnivore #foodtravelchat #parkchat https://t.co/fYK6bDsaAq

replying to @RewardMyShoppin @RewardMyShoppin @GlacierNPS A8: Did I mention the Raspberry Milkshakes in Wyoming? #foodtravelchat #parkchat

A9 #ParkChat If I’m hungry after a long day in a National Park, depending on location, I’ll either find a sit-down dinner in the park or eat back in town. It depends on how isolated the location is and if the location is known for local specialties. #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks We made some great homemade salsa ! It goes fast #ParkChat #foodtravelchat

replying to @Mowery5 @Mowery5 @SFMaritimeNPS A7. San Francisco’s pier is so much fun. The food at the waterfront stands tastes even better than it looks. You can save a lot of money that way, too. #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat
