A9. If the kids are with me, it's better to have a sit-down meal in town so they won't mess up the car. #ParkChat #FoodTravelChat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks A9: You have to eat local at the oldest established restaurant you can find. Here's a photo from Palm Beach last week at an 80 year old diner, Green's Luncheonette! #foodtravelchat #parkchat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks @RCGibby73 @Adventuringgal @Wild_Tribute That’s pretty awesome. You guys can adopt her. She’s really fun! #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

A9) After a day at #MesaVerde, head back to @CityofDurango and find the Himalayan Kitchen downtown. The lamb curry is amazing. #foodtravechat #parkchat

A10. As a biologist, I love going down to the tide pools to watch the animals @CABRILLONPS in San Diego. I’m fascinated by the starfish that eat sea urchin. It takes guts to eat something that spiny! You can find uni sushi at the Japanese grocers. #ParkChat #foodtravelchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A8) Stopping for a post-hike fine ale is sort of thing around the NW with so many craft breweries everywhere, including any city around our three national park, North Cascades, Olympic and Rainier. Nitro pale here. #Parkchat

replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund @GlacierNPS Thanks guys! So not fair. Do tell. Where? Raspberry milkshakes with fresh picked raspberries sounds wonderful, but Wyoming is a loooong ways away. I like the idea of a fresh raspberry chocolate milkshake. #DairyFan #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

replying to @RewardMyShoppin @RewardMyShoppin A10: I have tried lots of stuff, rattlesnake, armadillo, etc. I will try anything, once, maybe. Hopefully it tastes like chicken! #foodtravelchat #parkchat

A11 The most unusual treats I found at a National Park were the cactus fruit candy and dried soups made with ancient bean varieties traditionally used by local Native American tribes that I found @RedRockCynLV National Conservation Area gift shop. #FoodTravelChat #ParkChat

A11. Probably one of those hot dogs that rolled around in the mini mart for way too long. #foodtravelchat #ParkChat
