replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS @CanyonlandsNPS A4 Seeing the Milky Way anywhere makes me happy. Like I said, I live in a city so going anywhere with dark skies is a treat. #ParkChat

A4 Among our National Parks, @BigBendNPS is my favorite. Right outside my door isn't bad either #parkchat

replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS @CanyonlandsNPS #parkchat A4 a short drive to @WindCaveNPS or @badlandsnps for us gives a wide open view of the sky! Once even saw some aurora from @badlandsnps years ago. 😍

replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS @CanyonlandsNPS A4) Though it could be better, my favorite place to view the night sky is on top of Mt Wanda at @JohnMuirNPS, I've been helping out on the Full Moon Walks there for over 20 years & to imagine that you're looking at the stars where John Muir once stood is priceless. #ParkChat

replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS @CanyonlandsNPS A4. At home on my farm, but it's not as dark as it used to be. I've seen dark skies at Badlands NP, too. But, maybe the most awesome sky moment in the Badlands was watching lightning above the formations. Whoa.

A4: A full moonlit night hike at Donner Memorial State Park, CA circa 1984. I was amazed on how many campers had never explored the forest or Donner Lake shoreline at night. Priceless memories. #ParkChat
