replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7. I love the sound of frogs and water at night. #ParkChat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7) The sound of loons in New England. Haunting and addictive listening. #Parkchat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7 #parkchat The hoot of owls, the howls of coyotes, a loon’s call are all awesome sounds to hear.
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7 #Parkchat I like the cracking of twigs when you are in your tent for the night. Wondering what is walking around the campsite is awesome!
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7) Owls, crickets & coyotes are pretty cool, its the stashing of the raccoons that is a bit bothersome. #ParkChat
A7. The cry of a pack of coyotes never dulls. The welcome sound of birds singing at dawn is bliss. #parkchat

@ArchesNPS A7) I'm with @Parkasaur on loons!
My dream would be to hear a wolf howl though. #ParkChat

A7. I love to hear coyotes calling to one another. And owls. We hear barred owls outside our bedroom sometimes--so neat. #ParkChat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7 - my favorite nighttime sound was pure silence at 0430 @DeathValleyNPS. No animals, cars, planes, running water - just hearing the sounds of my thoughts #bliss #ParkChat
A7 My very first memory of this life was getting scared by the sound of an owl. I must have been 1-2 years old #parkchat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7 I like the sound of the wind blowing through the trees and water flowing over rocks in a stream - very relaxing #ParkChat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7: Listening to the crunches and snaps of twigs and branches while guessing what kind of creature is out there. It’s most likely a squirrel but amplified in your mind to be a bear. #ParkChat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS A7. I love night time in the forest with all the chirping crickets, cicadas and birds, with the wind rustling the leaves and sometimes babbling brooks! It's the best! #ParkChat
replying to @ArchesNPS @ArchesNPS #parkchat A7 Love coyotes (when you hear them, nothing bigger is around!), but most chilling yet cool was a bobcat that sounded like someone's child was dying. OMG. Worst night of sleep EVER. I love all the owls and their unique calls. Wolves, loons, deer snorts!
A7 Crickets with the crackling of the camp fire. Life don't get much better than that! @NatlParkService #ParkChat
A7 This question reminds me of why living in a place where you have to have AC on at night is for the birds - can I move back up North yet? #parkchat

@ArchesNPS A7. The occasional coyote would be ok, but they often wake me up at night if the windows are open. Wish I could hear loons more often. I do enjoy all the night singing birds--owls, mockingbirds, nightjars, etc.
