Q5. Imagine that you only had a few hours to spend in #Yosemite. Where would you go? What would you do? #ParkChat

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5. #Parkchat Drive through and a short hike taking pictures , hopefully at sunset or sunrise.

A5: The main valley but find a spot at least a little ways off from a crowd to get to marvel at the beauty in peace

A5: If you're in the Valley for an evening, catch a 90-minute show at the #Yosemite Theater. The spring season includes @JohnMuirLive, Search and Rescue rangers, a new show set in the 1880s & more >> https://t.co/UGNOc0U7S2 #ParkChat

A5 I remember a quote from an old @YosemiteNPS ranger who was asked this question. He said, "I'd sit down by the Merced River and cry." I think that's a good answer #parkchat

@YoseConservancy A5: Hike the Panorama Trail, soak in the views for as long as time allowed.
And I may do just that this July before our #ParkChat meetup just down in SEKI

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5 I can't fathom having only a few hours, but I would see what I could in the valley. #ParkChat

A5: We asked #Yosemite fans a similar question a couple of years ago – see what they (& John Muir) suggested: https://t.co/95yJ7yYFv9 (And yes, someone said "sit down and cry.") #ParkChat

A5. I like this. I'm going with it, too. Although I'd probably cry while hiking, because I like to see parks on foot. #ParkChat https://t.co/kE78zGjp1W

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5 I have never been to @YosemiteNPS so I would check in with @t_jh2009 and get his recommendations when planning a trip. #parkchat (All you guys too. I'm taking notes!)

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5) Let's see, I'd make a quick stop at Tunnel View to check out the valley before heading up to Washburn Point for the first part of lunch, come back to the valley to Sentinel Bridge to see Half Dome & Yosemite Falls & finish lunch at Valley View. #ParkChat

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5) Drive the valley road and then hike at Tuolumne Grove #ParkChat

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5. Not that I'm planning on just a few hours, but I am curious to see the answers here. #parkchat

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5) Been there in that situation, and I would say you have to see the valley and at least do the short hike to Yosemite Falls. #Parkchat

A5) I love a good live-action show and/or reenactment. Also, this show needs to happen during our upcoming trip! #parkchat https://t.co/BEJljXOzON

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5. Never been there, so I don't know. I will do everything possible to avoid this, and plan a few DAYS, not hours, for my first trip there. #parkchat

replying to @YoseConservancy @YoseConservancy A5. I had one day (it was sooo crowded) and managed to get to The Lower Falls, Bridal Veil Fall, and spent the most time hiking down into Tuolumne Grove. Mariposa Grove was closed when I was there #ParkChat
