A2 I most enjoy hiking through forests because even on hot, humid summer days it tends to be cooler beneath the canopy of leaves. And because if I'm hiking late I'll be treated to the Chorus of the Tree Frogs! #ParkChat
A2) We prefer #hiking and park trails in the forest, you generally have canopy cover, so it tends to be cooler, and there's a lot to discover, with flora and fauna! #ParkChat
replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks @Wild_Tribute A1 - Was bummed to not get permits for the Half Dome summit cables - but after a full day from Panorama point to the Valley floor - not sure I would have had the juice left for that climb. #parkchat
replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A3) That would be the trail at the Mt Wanda section of @JohnMuirNPS, I've taken numerous times though probably not as much as John Muir himself. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax The AT. At least one small bite at a time. Historic, beautiful and social. #ParkChat

A2. Oceanfront trails are my favorite. A little hard to find for me but the payoff is great. Check out cattus island in #newjersey #parkchat
A3 The 9.4-mile roundtrip hike on the #AppalachianTrail from Carver's Gap to Grassy Ridge Bald in the Roan Highlands of Tennessee. Absolutely stunning hike with views for miles in all directions. I've done it about a dozen times. #ParkChat
