Q5. Where is one of the best park hikes for families with kids? (Toss in those family-on-the-trail pics!) #parkchat

A5: Our family has a long history of taking the kids to Grove of the Patriarchs @MountRainierNPS. Here's our favorite tree roots holding the nieces and nephews when they were tiny and years later the same tree roots when they were grown. #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5 #ParkChat Even though I don’t have kids, I’d say the interpretive trails that many parks have. They usually included some fun facts for kids and some ideas of things to look for (eye spy)

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5 No kids but I would say some of the trails in Arches are perfect. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5: Just always enjoy walking the rim at Grand Canyon easy & great views! #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5) The Abbott's Lagoon trail at @PointReyesNPS is a nice family trail, its pretty much level throughout with various things to see along the way with the beach & Pacific Ocean as the final destination. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5: every park we’ve been to has great hikes for the littles. Haven’t found a park without them! #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5.) #Parkchat @DryTortugasNPS for sure because Fort Jefferson is accessible to most and then they can snorkel afterwards. The @EvergladesNPS is nice too in the winter, because so much flat and you can take a stroller.

A5 I don't remember the name of the trail, but it's the one with the talus cave @PinnaclesNPS - I don't have kids, but that one brought out the kid in me #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax #ParkChat A5 Going with @Stars252525 and saying the Delicate Arch Viewpt Trail @ArchesNPS. Can still see Delicate Arch but a much shorter, kid-friendly hike!

A5. Boardwalks of @CongareeNPS are perfect for kids. Easy on the legs and easy to keep kids out of trouble. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5: most of them are not in NParks but 14'rs were popular #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5: I don't have any kids, but I'd imagine Yosemite is always a good standby. #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A5 #ParkChat Santa Cruz Island in @CHISNPS has some very nice coastal hikes with lots of Island foxes. They were some of my first hikes in a national park.
