replying to @naturetechfam @naturetechfam @beckyjlomax @PicturedRocksNL Well, your problem there was clearly NOT letting the kids walk instead, putting all of them in your backpack. 𤪠#ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax So many places kids love. #ParkChat mine really started to love hikes and experiences @BigBendNPS , the window trail or the canyons

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax @Wild_Tribute A9: It wasnāt so much physically challenging but Iām terrified of heights so doing just about half of Angelās Landing was a mental battle. Halfway counts, right? #parkchat

replying to @ParksandPoints @ParksandPoints Did you lift that from Bill Bryson's book haha? I think that's what Katz said. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A10 #parkchat Iām going to assume itās summer. Itād want to be beamed to the Berg Lake trailhead in Mount Robson Provincial Park, BC. Itās my most favourite trail ever and I havenāt been in 5 years!

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A9. McKenzie this past Winter. Deceptively mean for a 3850' peak. It broke almost all of my gear & left me bumped, bruised & aching for 5 days. I never ache that long after a single hike. #ParkChat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A6 I have very early memories of walking the trails at Paradise in @MountRainierNPS #Parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A7. Lack of funding. Trail maintenance is labor-intensive. Trails erode, become blocked, or need updates signs/blazes. Unfortunately, a few trail users add to the problems. #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A8: The formations at Arches are the result of an underground salt bed. It's incredible what an untold millennia of time, chemistry, and geology can do. #parkchat

A10 I know it's not one of "our" National Parks, but they say the best day hike in the world is in Tongariro NP, New Zealand. I choose that one. #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A8: Angels landing. I was amazed at some of the sections that dod not have chains, mostly because it was so icy when I went #parkchat Also seemed weird that nobody closed the route
