replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A10. Anywhere there isn't snow on the ground. It's still Winter here. I'm tired of heavy packs, changing layers, etc, etc. So maybe the Smokies? Blue Ridge Mtns? Somewhere in the Southwest?

Q11. Bushwhacking is the art of navigating when a trail is not present. Highly looked down upon in sensitive vegetation areas, but at times necessary depending the scenario and Park. Any noteworthy bushwhacks you’ve experienced in the field? Tell us about it. #ParkChat

However, if it's a Star Trek transporter, I wouldn't go anywhere with a trail or road - I'd beam straight into somewhere super remote and difficult to get to, probably in in the Himalayas. #parkchat

replying to @beckyjlomax @beckyjlomax A9. I’ll go with the trek up Mansfield I mentioned previously as one of them. It goes up through the woods, up some more, clearing on to trails I know I’ve skied, back into wooods, and then emerges from them...and you’re left staring up the rest of a black diamond 🙄 #ParkChat
