replying to @tthrash @tthrash Of course. I mean we went to @GatewayArchNPS for the umpteenth time when it got the #60th designation. And it really wasn’t even open. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute Are they considering changing the name of that park? #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9) #Parkchat I'm going with @coasthikergirl on this one! I'm not going to be sad if I "Missed" something because it's the experience, as a whole, that I'm going for.

replying to @tthrash @tthrash @RoadTripsCoffee Yup. That’s what I’ve been doing this spring—just adding a few park days on to biz trips. I always come home with lots of “next time” revisit plans. #parkchat

replying to @rscottjones @rscottjones @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @RoadTripsCoffee @tthrash Yeah...try changing a tire in Phoenix in the middle of the summer...actually...don't try it #ParkChat

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @tthrash @FlorissantNPS A8 I really want to go back there. Loved it. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9) No, it would have to be because somehow I missed seeing a key feature of the National Park such as a waterfall in Yosemite that you're only able to see in the Springtime. #ParkChat

A9 I am going to keep going back to @EvergladesNPS until I see a polar bear #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A8 #parkchat Yep. I'm routinely bringing Jen or friends to parks I really love. Probably 4-6 trips a year.

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9: we were disappointed that big meadows lodge @ShenandoahNPS is not yet open for the season. So we will be back. We love the Great Room there. #ParkChat

replying to @Parkasaur @Polymathically @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @Wild_Tribute @rscottjones Here's a few more Iguazu shots to whet your appetite - such an absolutely stunning and amazing place. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A3 our @EvergladesNPS trip was sadly lessened by the shutdown, but the @SFNPT & @FLNatlPksAssoc (& the vendors) did amazing work to keep the park accessible, safe and clean. Felt #blessed since our park trips are limited due to how far we have to travel. #parkchat

Q10. Think about any park you’ve been to. What’s that one hike, view, drive, etc, that has you most eager for next time? Photo please. #parkchat

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @Polymathically @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @Wild_Tribute @rscottjones Beautiful! #ParkChat

replying to @Stars252525 @Stars252525 @tthrash @FlorissantNPS Yes! I may be biased, but for me, @FlorissantNPS is an easy park to fall in love with. #ParkChat

replying to @WildWithinHer @WildWithinHer No, just saying I probably wouldn’t have visited unless it was a National Park (shh...don’t tell). Glad I did though! The lure of condors, oh my! #ParkChat

replying to @kokuaelli
@kokuaelli @tthrash @RockyNPS i'm so ready! i'm going to the area in october and i'm planning on a two-day visit before i go to a wedding!
#ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash @59NationalParks There's a heck of a lot arguing about what to see & do when traveling that way. 😄 #ParkChat

Q9. I forgot my passport stamp at the Grand Canyon so yes I’ll be back! It’s like I wasn’t even there. I would go back for a missed animal sighting as well. #ParkChat

replying to @billbrokob @billbrokob @rscottjones @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @tthrash This is why I have Geico. And AAA. And if all else fails I'll drive on the bare rim haha. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute Ah. I would definitely go for the condors! #parkchat

RT @tthrash: Q10. Think about any park you’ve been to. What’s that one hike, view, drive, etc, that has you most eager for next time? Phot…

replying to @billbrokob
@billbrokob @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @RoadTripsCoffee @tthrash What tire? That's a puddle of rubber.
Oh yes, I've done that many times, especially in college when I couldn't afford good tires. I often keep a blanket in the car for exactly that reason. #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A8. It's wonderful to show a favorite place to someone who has never experienced it. I also like being the one to accompany the more experienced. I like to see places through another's eyes and thoughts. #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9: Not really, no #ParkChat Not really a "list" person

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @Polymathically @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @rscottjones Wow. Did you view from Brazil or Paraguay? #ParkChat

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @tthrash @FlorissantNPS It's such a beautiful area too #ParkChat

RT @tthrash: Q10. Think about any park you’ve been to. What’s that one hike, view, drive, etc, that has you most eager for next time? Phot…

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10: The view from atop Mount Whitney, technically on the border of Sequoia NP. It was absolutely stunning up there, but would love to see the High Sierra from the summit on a cloud-free day #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash I visited @GrandCanyonNPS as a 21 year old and vowed to take my kids there. It was the first (2002) of many national park trips for our family. They are all young adults now that love the parks! #parkchat

A9) Missing stamps and name/designation changes aren't for me, but I have made return visits to see more wildlife! #parkchat https://t.co/L2RaZVYFTz

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9) Seeing wildlife is one of my favorite things about visiting the parks. So not seeing some in a park that has the specific habitat for that animal would be a reason for me to return. #ParkChat

replying to @Parkasaur @Parkasaur @Polymathically @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @Wild_Tribute Definitely on my list. My gf did it a couple years ago without me, so she gets to do it again in the coming years. #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10 #parkchat Driving into Yosemite Valley was pretty phenomenal. I’ve already visited the valley twice but I’m still eager to return. @YosemiteNPS

#parkchat A10) Oh no, only 1? I think it would have to be Grinnell Glacier in @GlacierNPS I did this hike and drawing at the very end of the day, and I wasn't able to make it all the way to the top, but it was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10. Have to go with hiking down into Bryce Canyon #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9: Nah, it'd have to be something far more serious than that, like missing a major landmark. I was within sight of several of Arches' finest, but I didn't have time to hike close enough for better photos due to the park closing early. I was livid by the end. #ParkChat

replying to @EverybodysNPs
@EverybodysNPs @shenandoah We loved both of those hikes. Really fun! Glad you got to experience them with the kids. #parkchat
Dark Hollow Falls

replying to @rscottjones @rscottjones @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @Wild_Tribute Certainly, one drawback of the UNESCO World Heritage Site list is that several of the sites are closed to visitation. However, I do think that the UNESCO WHS list is a pretty good proxy for international significance. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10 I find myself dreaming about Acadia and the granite shores, Yosemite and the valley, and always Yellowstone and the wildlife. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash I have plans to hit the Hot Springs brewery in May! #parkchat

replying to @billbrokob @billbrokob You replied to my Johnny Cash places tweet pretty quickly. ;) #parkchat

A10 I did S. Rim to River and back @GrandCanyonNPS in 6 1/2 hrs, so next time I would do Rim to Rim in a day #parkchat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs @tthrash @ShenandoahNPS The view! I love that room! We built so many puzzles in that room this past summer. I love that lodge! #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10) I'd like to go back to @DenaliNPS so see if I could win one of the lottery slots to drive in my own vehicle since with my mobility issues it could be difficult getting on & off the bus let alone ride in it. #ParkChat
