replying to @Parkasaur @rscottjones @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @Wild_Tribute Its unfortunate that the United States has such a long backlog of sites that would merit inclusion, but which we simply have not nominated yet. #ParkChat

A10 Mount Pisgah Overlook on the @BlueRidgeNPS. It's an amazing place to watch #sunset and then you can just crash at the Pisgah Inn or the campground. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A8 Yes! I need to get my better half to more NPs...where there’s no cell service and he’ll be forced to “take off” from work! #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10) I just like being outside and especially cooking over an open fire, looking forward to more time in the mountains! The last few years have seen a lot of beach action so time for a change of scenery to mix it up a bit. #Parkchat

Gotta duck out, #ParkChat. Thanks, @tthrash for a great chat! Very fun. See you in the parks!

replying to @naturetechfam @naturetechfam @tthrash @SleepingBearNPS @GreatSmokyNPS @ShenandoahNPS @NationalMallNPS 3 of our favorite places! My kids can be your junior ranger guides! #ParkChat

replying to @wxlada @wxlada @tthrash It’s pretty amazing. Definitely worth a second visit. Which way did you approach from? #parkchat

replying to @59NationalParks @59NationalParks Just me and my coffee mug. #ParkChat

replying to @this_is_karley @this_is_karley @tthrash @RockyNPS Ooh...October! I bet it will be gorgeous when you’re there! #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash Since @BadlandsNPS was named one of the 25 most beautiful places places in the world by @CNNTravel we’ll pick this view. #ParkChat

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @BlueRidgeNPS The Pisgah Inn was one of my favorite places to stay on any of my park trips #ParkChat

replying to @KerriAnnHale @KerriAnnHale @billbrokob @rscottjones @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @tthrash Whoa whoa whoooa! Why you shaking your head at me? #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash @kokuaelli Glacier is on my short list. Can’t wait to go there someday soon! #parkchat

Q11. “Next Time” is powerful motivation and also an in the moment medicine for disappointment. Be honest, when you say “Next Time...” are you an optimist in pursuing such or lean more towards the pessimistic side, but say it just to make yourself feel better? #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9. I try not to be obsessive/compulsive about stamps and things. Birds are another matter. I missed seeing the Colima warbler in Big Bend many years ago, and I must go back! It's a fantastic park, too. #parkchat

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @59NationalParks Yeah, I might want one of those mugs. #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash Had to dig deep to remember all those :-) #parkchat Maybe I do need a database

replying to @unconpeace @unconpeace @GrandCanyonNPS Read about another death on the south rim today. Crazy :( #ParkChat

RT @theRangerLife: @tthrash A10. Have to go with hiking down into Bryce Canyon #parkchat https://t.co/7mLmrFgaUs

replying to @WildWithinHer @WildWithinHer @Wild_Tribute And the hiking the tunnels and pinnacles. #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A9 #parkchat For me it's more about the experience, or missing one. I definitely want to revisit to have a new experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way for a name change or a minor expansion. And definitely not for a park stamp (they'll mail you one) #parkchat

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @KerriAnnHale @rscottjones @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @tthrash She is the nice one...the rest of it were doing it behind your back :-) #parkchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute @Polymathically @59NationalParks @ParksPassport @NatlParkService @rscottjones I visited both the Brazil side and the Argentina side (due to a quirk, each side is a separate UNESCO WHS as well.) Paraguay doesn't actually have any of the falls, and I unfortunately couldn't visit as Americans need to apply for a visa in advance, and I had not. #ParkChat

A10 @DinosaurNPS is tops on my list. want to go rafting, backcountry camping and stargazing. #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A8: I can’t wait to take my kids to @YellowstoneNPS in winter or any season. #ParkChat.

replying to @rscottjones @rscottjones @tthrash I went to the Hot Springs brewery last year, it was great! Loved learning about how a woman-owned small business was able to use the historic leasing program too. & the 🍺 was tasty! #ParkChat

replying to @unconpeace @unconpeace @BlueRidgeNPS I haven't been able to stay there yet cause I never make reservations ahead of time and they are always booked when I pull up about two hours before sunset. One of these days I'll learn. #ParkChat

@tthrash A10: tough call, you tell me; the tetons are calling, but so is the beartooth highway. can't wait to get back to both this summer!
#ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10 I would love to see Oxbow Bend in @GrandTetonNPS again. Only went once - about 22 years ago. Very inspirational place! #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10: I really need to go back to @HaleakalaNPS. I had only one day to spare at the summit years ago, and it was pouring rain the entire time. The sudden altitude change caused my nose to bleed, so I was drenched *and* a mess. #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11 #ParkChat I’m an optimist! I know I’ve got the impulse to make my “next times” happen.

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11. Yeah, not so likely to be a next time, but at least we get to experience some of the park #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10: Definitely the view of our most recent visit to New Gorge National River. 😍 #ParkChat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash A10 so many choices of great views: Avalanche Lake @GlacierNPS comes to mind, and the view of valley @YosemiteNPS. #ParkChat

A11) There is always a "next time" as far as our parks and public lands go for us. We don't know exactly when it will be (likely retirement for some), but they will be happening again. For us, travel is a need, not a want, so we try to squeeze trips in whenever we can. #parkchat https://t.co/g4w4w6LdFL

replying to @t_jh2009 @t_jh2009 @tthrash Whoop. Whoop. Headed to see Yosemite waterfalls in about 10 days. Can’t wait. #parkchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11) Certainly use it as motivation! I'm always looking forward to the next adventure! #Parkchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11: always optimistic. If it’s on the possible side of things, why not? #parkchat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11: Optimism wins every time. And I will be back. #ParkChat

A11 I will probably have thousands more lives, so I guess that makes me an optimist on this question - there will always be a next time #parkchat

replying to @tthrash @tthrash I often have limited time cuz I am traveling for work, so I try to see as many of the highlights as I can. #ParkChat

replying to @billbrokob @billbrokob @RoadTripsCoffee @rscottjones @evanturkart @wxlada @Stars252525 @tthrash What Bill said Jason! 😉😂 #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11 Hmmm. I tend to be a pretty optimistic person so I really do believe "next time" and another visit will happen . #ParkChat

replying to @NonProfitStef @NonProfitStef @tthrash Awesome! I love hearing about women brewers breaking (back) into such a male-dominated field. #parkchat
