Q11. “Little Parks” are the nation’s peanut butter to its jelly, focusing on the underscored fabric of who we are as a country. Whether you’ve been or not, what smaller park is an interesting inclusion to the NPS? Conversely, is there an interesting/ notable exclusion? #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11: I think our National Seashores are an overlooked collection of our NPS as a whole. Without those protected areas, how long do the interior ones last? #ParkChat

A11 You know what I'm going to say the biggest exclusion is...Love Canal! I don't believe there is yet a NPS unit commemorating a manmade environmental disaster #ParkChat

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11 #ParkChat There was talk of adding the Mason Temple in Memphis where MLK delivered his "Mountaintop" speech the night before he was assassinated, but I'm not sure if that idea is progressing.

replying to @Wild_Tribute @Wild_Tribute A11. Perhaps the New Bedford Whaling is that interesting inclusion one. With so many presidential homes in the NPS system, presidential homes not within the system (like Harding's, which I saw this past weekend) strike me as interesting exclusions. #parkchat
