replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM A5. Absolutely. I mentioned it on a fairly recent #parkchat, but the ranger (Ken, I believe) at River Raisin NBP was phenomenal as he explained the history of the area.

replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM #parkchat A5 we have several since we do the #juniorranger program at every site we visit! One of the best was @ArchesNPS when my geology-loving son got into a deep discussion w a Ranger and they just tuned out the world! It was fun to watch.

replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM A5) Oh yeah, during my first visit to Devil's Postpile National Monument on the Eastern side of the Sierra I was talking to the Ranger who I found out that he was also the Superintendent and maybe even the Chief of Interpretation & Maintenance aka a one man crew. #ParkChat

replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM A5) #Parkchat It's embarrassing but I got a ticket from one, for expired registration at @Volcanoes_NPS my friends from Florida got so scared, when I went to court I explained i had gotten the wrong light shipped to the island and didn't pass my safety and couldn't get registered
