Q6: Here at #HomesteadNM, we also have the support of many dedicated #volunteers who allow us to do much more than we could on our own. We have volunteers who give programs, repair farm equipment, etc!

Do you volunteer?

(Thank you to all of the volunteers out there!)

replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM A5) Oh yeah, during my first visit to Devil's Postpile National Monument on the Eastern side of the Sierra I was talking to the Ranger who I found out that he was also the Superintendent and maybe even the Chief of Interpretation & Maintenance aka a one man crew. #ParkChat

replying to @sonlight00 @sonlight00 @HomesteadNM @NatlParkService Definitely. I remember thinking it would be a good one to visit on my way to the Badlands, but was so glad I stopped there after visiting. And it was odd to think my first time to the Badlands was in Sept 91, around the time those talks were taking place. #parkchat

replying to @HomesteadNM @HomesteadNM @NatlParkService I feel like we get more one-on-one with staff plus is possible to see more of the Park without rushing on to the next spot. Think about this too. In our experience most of the smaller parks don’t have an admission charge. #ParkChat
