Q3) Bering Land Bridge can be reached by foot, boat, snowmobile, or small bush plane. What’s the most adventurous form of travel you’ve experienced?

A3. Probably sea kayaking. Haven't flown in a bush plane yet. No dogsleds or snowmobiles either. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 My most adventurous form of travel has been wearing crampons and a rope climbing glaciers. #ParkChat

A3) We've enjoyed a fun (and sometimes unintentionally adventurous) boat ride out to and in several of the #NPS sites! #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3: Now that would be awesome in any National Park that has enough snowpack. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3: I grew up on a floating logging camp in SE AK, so we only traveled by skiff or float plane for most of my childhood. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3: Definitely kayaking. I built up lots of upper body strength thanks to it. #parkchat

A3 One time on a Caribbean cruise, I got drunk and fell overboard and had to swim back to port #notreally #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3) I took a small airplane over @WrangellStENPS back in 1999 and another one over the Caribbean from Puerto Rico to St Croix in 2009. Since its 2019 I guess I'm due for one again. #ParkChat

A3: Snow machine! Winter in Alaska is very different. The sound, the smell, the view, the adventure! #parkchat #WildPlaces @BeringLandNPS

A3: I haven't been on many wild forms of transport but taking a dozen high school students up a funicular in Italy was definitely an experience!

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3. Hmmm. Maybe seaplane, maybe cross country skiing? #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS @Wild_Tribute A3: Same as @WildWithinHer Sea kayaking off coast of @AcadiaNPS or horseback riding in @rockymountainnp #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3. A 3 hour boat trip, followed by canoeing to an Amazon Basin lodge was certainly memorable. I used to cross-country ski, even to work, when there was enough snow. People who had never skied called it adventurous. I call it the best thing about winter. #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 probably an airboat, just outside of the Everglades. Really would love to experience a dog sled when we fonally make it to Alaska though! #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3: taxi-brousse (bush-taxi) full of chickens and other animals all over Madagascar including visiting national parks! I have a theme here. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 Hiking is the best way to travel! #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 Not much for adventurous (aka dangerous) travel. I did kayak on Haro Straight in the San Juan Islands of Washington. That felt plenty adventurous to me. #ParkChat

A3: The Channel Islands can only be reached by ferry. On the ride, I saw a hundred dolphins, several sea lions, and two blue whales. @CHISNPS #parkchat

A3) Hitch-hiking on a cargo ship to reach @Amer_SamoaNPS #ParkChat https://t.co/icv6Nb6Ni3

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 #parkchat Spending two weeks walking home to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail.
