Q6) While we love wild places, they don’t always love us back. In three words, how would you describe your most unforgettable outdoor misadventure? #parkchat

A6. Stuck in a tent in Grizzly Country in the pouring rain, no ability to eat without getting soaked, so just opt to sleep for 12+ hours. #ParkChat

A6 SIGH...do I really have to tell the story about being rescued on the Devil's Path in the Catskills AGAIN??! #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A6: camping at Robert Treman State Park in NY we tried to get our dinner cooked on the fire before the downpour. No luck. neighbors invited us to break bread with them. We ended up spending the whole week with this family and had big dinner party on our last night. #ParkChat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs @BeringLandNPS A6 took wrong turn hiking at Shenandoah NP with the dog. Doubled our intended hike. @melissa_sue & i struggled to reach the trailhead but the dog led the way. Then the dog promptly started snoring as soon as we were back in the car. #parkchat
