A2. We’ll just go with the most recent. This weekend while in the wilds of @CanyonlandsNPS Needles District, we saw a Black Bear! Never thought I would see a bear in Utah. Of all places in canyon country in the desert! #ParkChat

replying to @unconpeace @unconpeace @BeringLandNPS Yes. Stephen Mather is always watching. #ParkChat

replying to @mdeichlerauthor @mdeichlerauthor @Wild_Tribute There’s something wild about the calm to me, it’s very surreal after spending life busy and surrounded by noise. #parkchat

A2. Hmmm. Recent close encounters with a rattlesnake and a big Rocky Mountain bighorn ram come to mind. #ParkChat

A2: I dream of sitting in the Serpentine Hot Springs. It is on my list! #parkchat #WildPlaces

RT @59NationalParks: @BeringLandNPS I’ve shared this scene from Kobuk Valley many times. We weren’t there long but we soaked it up. #ParkCh…

Q3) Bering Land Bridge can be reached by foot, boat, snowmobile, or small bush plane. What’s the most adventurous form of travel you’ve experienced?

#ParkChat Wanted to say hello and that I'm sorry I've missed 2x in a row. My BIL passed away so things have been busy. Be back next week.

replying to @toreauu @toreauu @Wild_Tribute Excellent answer. Thought provoking. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A2: Not remote but staring at the Painted Desert gave me an appreciation for the vastness of these ecosystems #ParkChat cc: @PetrifiedNPS

replying to @rscottjones @rscottjones @BeringLandNPS Do you keep your paper memorials for each park? If so, you must have a big stack! #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A2: camping on a tiny island off the coast of Madagascar accessible by pirogue with no development. Just an amazing sky, bioluminescent plankton and sound of the sea. This was remote and wild under the sea. #ParkChat

replying to @Stars252525 @Stars252525 Condolences, Gay. Thinking of you and your family. #ParkChat

replying to @RCGibby73 @RCGibby73 @WildWithinHer @Wild_Tribute @highcountrynews @TUmarkwoods Very good chapter. Made me change the way I think about nature. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A2) Since #ParkChat is a "Family Oriented" all I can say is that on my Boy Scout 50 Miler in the Sierras was that my most memorable experience in the wild was when I got some expected exposure from a female hiker. 😏

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A2: Haven’t had too many experiences in remote places, but my first time in @ShenandoahNPS was very memorable, simply because it was in my own backyard and I had never been before. It was beautiful. #parkchat

A3. Probably sea kayaking. Haven't flown in a bush plane yet. No dogsleds or snowmobiles either. #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3 My most adventurous form of travel has been wearing crampons and a rope climbing glaciers. #ParkChat

A3) We've enjoyed a fun (and sometimes unintentionally adventurous) boat ride out to and in several of the #NPS sites! #ParkChat
