replying to @mdeichlerauthor @mdeichlerauthor The bighorn crested a saddle maybe 60 feet from us. Totally startled me though he seemed unconcerned. And I never saw the rattler--just put my foot down in the wrong place and next thing I knew I was 15 feet away! #ParkChat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3: Definitely kayaking. I built up lots of upper body strength thanks to it. #parkchat

A3 One time on a Caribbean cruise, I got drunk and fell overboard and had to swim back to port #notreally #parkchat

replying to @Stars252525 @Stars252525 Sorry to hear that. We’ll be glad on your return. #parkchat

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3) I took a small airplane over @WrangellStENPS back in 1999 and another one over the Caribbean from Puerto Rico to St Croix in 2009. Since its 2019 I guess I'm due for one again. #ParkChat

A3: Snow machine! Winter in Alaska is very different. The sound, the smell, the view, the adventure! #parkchat #WildPlaces @BeringLandNPS

Q4) Bering Land Bridge has a deep history of human habitation and use of these lands. It’s home to many Alaska Native communities: land, wild foods, and cultural identity are tightly woven to the landscape. Who or what shaped your relationship with wild places? #parkchat

replying to @AlaskaNPS @AlaskaNPS @BeringLandNPS We bet! What an adventure indeed! #ParkChat

A3: I haven't been on many wild forms of transport but taking a dozen high school students up a funicular in Italy was definitely an experience!

replying to @BeringLandNPS @BeringLandNPS A3. A 3 hour boat trip, followed by canoeing to an Amazon Basin lodge was certainly memorable. I used to cross-country ski, even to work, when there was enough snow. People who had never skied called it adventurous. I call it the best thing about winter. #parkchat

replying to @kristarsha @kristarsha @BeringLandNPS See. I want to do this. #ParkChat

replying to @unconpeace @unconpeace Oooh, the wilds of the Great Salt Lake. The Spiral Jetty was having a foam party (for real) when last visiting. Beautiful country with a nice hint of manmade earthworks. Shoutout to the 150 of Golden Spike btw! #ParkChat
