Q6: What are some qualities you treasure most at state parks that you don’t find at national parks or vice versa? #ParkChat #everybodysnationalparks

A6: Often the campgrounds have more space between the sites. And usually, there are fewer crowds at state parks. #ParkChat https://t.co/cuN0ye32Ah

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A6: location. We have so many state parks so close to each other. I think there are 3 in my town. NPs are soooo far away! #parkchat

A6 I can't get views like this in CT. National Parks just seem so much more magical. We plan our vacations around them. Next week we are off to Olympic National Park #ParkChat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A6 I appreciate the relative obscurity often possible at state parks compared to the massive crowds that persist in National Parks. #ParkChat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A6: Location location location! Being able to visit a Park, see all of it and get back home in a day is nice when crunched for time #ParkChat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A6) The fact that the park staff seem to be more local & familiar with the areas surrounding the parks than at the National Park Service level. #ParkChat

A6. We are fortunate to live an hour away to Kananaskis Country and the provincial parks there plus Banff National Park a little further on but the national parks tend to be busier I find. #parkchat

replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A6) I find more peace and solitude in state parks, but unfortunately I can't find the accompanying photo I had for this comment. #ParkChat

A6 #ParkChat State parks (more often) allow dogs on trails and campgrounds are usually in better condition than in National Parks. (At least, that’s been my experience.)

A6: I love Utah's state parks. I'm slowly working my through all of them and then on to Nevada. Best of Utah: Goblin for spring, Wasatch for Summer, and Antelope when the bugs aren't bad. #parkchat https://t.co/NS7jIdXbTL
