replying to @HubbardJeff @HubbardJeff @59NationalParks @mostateparks It is true that the annual pass is expensive...more than double the cost of the NPS pass. #ParkChat
replying to @Stars252525 @Stars252525 @59NationalParks @EverybodysNPs Goosenecks is a great view, but honestly I found it a bit of a letdown. Definitely worth it on your way through but not to go special for it. #ParkChat https://t.co/PZIbOROLJJ
replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A4 As far as I know you pretty much need to drive to get to Indiana state parks. Falls of Ohio is in Louisville area and you can walk there from Louisville, Kentucky (unless bridge access has changed). Some parks you can bicycle to. Ouabache near Bluffton comes to mind. #parkchat
replying to @billbrokob @billbrokob Thanks for including the states! I now have vacations for the next 100 years! #ParkChat
replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs I’ve seen Dead Horse State Park #Utah on Twitter today. Must see on the way to @CanyonlandsNPS Many people skip it because of the fee. #ParkChat Too bad for them.
A9 We don’t seek them out but we enjoy visiting them and have gone out of our way to see them. 419 NPS sites is a tough enough goal to attain! #parkchat
#parkchat A2: I volunteered for CA State parks, so I’m a bit biased, but Angel Island, Old Town San Diego, La Purisima, Columbia, and Julia Pfiffer Burns are all amazing gems!
replying to @NakMakFeegle @NakMakFeegle @EverybodysNPs Goblin Valley is so otherworldly. A hoot to hike back in canyons with no trails. #ParkChat
replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A8. Mississippi Palisades, Illinois. Custer, South Dakota. Porcupine Mountains, Michigan. Devil's Lake, Wisconsin. Clifton Gorge, Ohio. Shades, Indiana. #parkchat
A9 The obvious ones would be Custer, Dead Horse Point, and the ones near Redwood. Sorry I don't have a more creative answer. Wanted to go to Porcupine Mtns when I went to Isle Royale, but didn't allow enough time #ParkChat
replying to @WeekendWomanWar @WeekendWomanWar @59NationalParks @EverybodysNPs Good to know #ParkChat
A9. Goblin Valley, Valley of Fire, Antelope Island, Eldorado Canyon (or Golden Gate) #ParkChat
replying to @hksbks @hksbks @EverybodysNPs We did @PicturedRocksNL last year and I took almost 1000 photos so expect I will have plenty of visual aids to go with that report on the Porkies! #ParkChat
A9: We often do, simply because a lot of NPs don't have campgrounds (or ones that fit us, or are reservable, etc.) Custer is a great home base for Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave, & Jewel Cave. St. Bernard is a great home base for Jean Lafitte NHP&P and the New Orleans Jazz NHP #ParkChat https://t.co/69s4KqH7cr

replying to @mdeichlerauthor @mdeichlerauthor @famTravelsUSA @EverybodysNPs @WeekiWacheeSpgs @FLStateParks Officially 6 - loooong ways to go 😂 Been to more in the past but will revisit to write about them. This summer I plan on going to 5 that we can hit without staying overnight. FL is so big eventually I’ll have to start doing weekend trips (or longer). #ParkChat

A9. Just like this week, we visit Kananaskis for the outdoors and smaller crowds then Banff for the ice cream and beaver tails. #parkchat
replying to @EverybodysNPs @EverybodysNPs A10. I suspect these will be found in the west. CusterSP in South Dakota is a start. #parkchat
