Something a bit different would be the New Lanark Mill Hotel - great place and great stays for sure - here is just a flavour! https://t.co/LSGdLfQF0h A4 #Scotlandhour

A4. I LOVE snow, so I love going to the Highlands in the winter. Last winter we went snowshoeing at the Nevis Range ski resort and had a brilliant time! The views were just amazing! #Scotland #Scotlandhour

replying to @Bairdtravels @Bairdtravels A4. I like to visit Arrochar at this time of year, for the warm colours and cosy pubs, but this year I went to Salem, Massachusetts instead. #ScotlandHour

A4. Plockton, the “Jewel of the Highlands”, with its breathtaking scenery, secluded bays, coral beaches, islands, panoramic views and an array of marine life at close quarters, there's no better place! #Scotlandhour @visitplockton

A4 We're biased, but Edinburgh! There's so much to see, from The Dome to the Christmas markets. Our personal favourite? Ice skating of course 🎄 #ScotlandHour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A4. Winter in Glen Coe is fantastic. Lots of iconic mountains to walk, climb or photograph. Some great local B&Bs and eateries in Glencoe Village and Ballachulish. This is the place to press the reset button and be surrounded by some of the best scenery in Scotland. #Scotlandhour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour Yes I didn't get that memo when I ventured to the highlands in my kilt on Saturday, absolutely freezing, worth it tho for the authentic experience for my family! #Scotlandhour

A4: For many people, visiting #Shetland in the Winter to see Viking-themed fire festivals are firmly on their bucket list. They are spectacular events which culminate with the burning of a Viking galley https://t.co/bGwPMBarsv #ScotlandHour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A4. The Isle of Mull, particularly Calgary Bay, is a really special place for me but comes into its own in the even-more tranquil space of winter. 😊 #ScotlandHour
