RT @KirstenAlana: It's incredible isn't it! Had to take a lot of photos of the stones on Arran https://t.co/mcTXbvCu0G #ScotlandHour

#ScotlandHour I hope that this is not too cheeky. I'm working towards monetising my channel. They money will go towards shooting more videos on location. I need to get my hours worth of view up. Who wants to help? @ScotlandHour https://t.co/mWOkRCI0BY

RT @ScotlandHour: Q2 What’s your favourite part of Scotland’s history and why? #Scotlandhour #virtualscotland

replying to @susannewilliams @susannewilliams That is fascinating! I think Mary has been so misrepresented in movies and TV shows that always favorite Elizabeth. I loved learning more about Mary when I visited Stirling. #ScotlandHour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour @FionaDrane @Rosslynchapel Oh so we did! 😉 #ScotlandHour

A3. Perhaps the tale of the Cailleach, a divine guardian who watches over Loch Awe in Argyll and its 20 crannogs 🌊
Or the legend of the Pictish Maiden Stone in Aberdeenshire, rumoured to actually be a woman turned stone by the Devil: https://t.co/V1zfbJoTVa

A3. A nod towards the glimmering shape-shifting water spirits patrolling our countries' waters and in honour of the horse powered heritage of Scotland's canals, the beautiful Kelpies are our favourite! 🐴
@ArchScot @welovehistory #ScotlandHour #TheKelpies @HelixFalkirk

A2: That's so tough to choose!
Midlothian and the Borders has history you can still see today - from the Roman Dere Street and @TrimontiumTrust to the gunpowder mills in Roslin Glen. #ScotlandHour

replying to @HereScotland
A2: Special mention goes to William Wallace and the First War of Independence: Many think Wallace was active in the Highlands only but many battles were fought right here, in Midlothian and the Borders.
And he was declared Guardian of Scotland in Selkirk! #ScotlandHour

replying to @KirstenAlana @KirstenAlana Especially when we think of the tools and skills they used but still managed to create a structure of which some exist to this day! #ScotlandHour

replying to @KnoydartTearoom @KnoydartTearoom @ScotlandHour Putting it on my list! Lots of time to read these days. #ScotlandHour

A3 not really a ‘favourite’ but the one that always sticks with me. The sad story of the Covenanters jailed at Dunottar
