replying to @welovehistory @welovehistory @HistEnvScot We been reading all the historic signs around #Edinburgh! It’s nice to have some time on our daily exercise to stop and learn more about the city. Although this ode to a pint isn’t the oldest it is fun. ^Sharon #ScotlandHour

4. Buying a new scarf as a treat from @HighCelticArt makes you feel great #feelgood #Scotland #ScotlandHour

replying to @FionaDrane @FionaDrane A2 we’ve managed to max out our walking during lockdown (in line with government social distancing and excercose rules of course). Getting up sharp and fitting in 5k or so every morning and same again at night once we were allowed about more than once! #scotlandhour

#ScotlandHour A2 Have been limited to local walks and cycles only (and remain so for a wee bit) but that's no hardship where we are.

A2: I have also shrugged off a 3 hour commute and I’m not sure when I’ll see this place again #Scotlandhour

A3. We love to see that some of you pass our sites during your daily exercise - especially when accompanied by your furry friends!
Thanks to @Hamblett87 & Clem in front @stirlingcastle
And to Finn, Titan and Winnie enjoying @edinburghcastle 🐾#ScotlandHour

A3. It is always a pleasure to see that you are passing the castle on your daily walks, but we do love when you bring your four legged friends too.
Let us introduce you to Finn, Titan and Winnie. 🐾

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A2 come rain or shine a good walk every day is the best for calming the mind. #scotlandhour

A2. We've been doing some #homeworkouts either with friends or local gyms including @activestirling1 @StirlingUniBC @Danhancock_fit @GBXANTHEMS we hope these will help maintain our fitness for when we return to the hills. #scotlandhour #Wellbeing #lockdown #keepactiveathome

Unfortunately many of our local beaches were closed down at the start of lockdown. We do have Newtonhill Croft though which has been beautiful (see earlier tweet about cuckoos, grasshopper warblers and weasels!).

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A3 Nothing new for us, stayed local so far, but really enjoyed seeing #spring evolve and visitors arrive! #scotlandhour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A3 I’m discovering things I never knew before out on the croft. Despite being born and bred here. Must havd walked every inch this spring #ScotlandHour

A3: Part of the John Muir Way cuts through Edinburgh. I’m very interested in cycling it after #lockdown. ^Sharon #ScotlandHour https://t.co/fe9ZjGgjJb

A3. Most of all I have realised how many different walks there are on my doorstep its opened up my eyes.
#scotlandhour #scotlandstartshere #WindowOnScotland #stboswells. Still want to know who arthur is?

A3 So many wonderful walks in Scotland. Each walk includes a piper on a hill overlooking a loch. It’s a rule here. Probably. @fionahyslop @st_alliance @visitscotland #Scotlandhour
