Autumn

Q5. Autumn is one of the best times of year to spot wildlife. Give us insights in where to see wildlife where you live or when you have been on holiday? #scotlandhour
A5. These guys have our 'seal' of approval š and if you are lucky you will spot one or two on your boat journey across to Inchcolm Abbey this Autumn!
Heading further North for a #Staycation? Look out for Puffins near Skara Brae as they retreat for winter

A5. Even though the summer season draws to a close, Scotland's canals are as busy as ever with wildlife in abundance!
These cheeky chappies were spotted at Cobbinshaw Reservoir - one of the feeder channels for the #UnionCanal!

A5. One of my fave Scottish animals to spot in autumn is the red squirrel - I've seen them in the woods around Killiecrankie, but would also love to head to @benmorebotgdn for a chance to spot them there! #ScotlandHour

A5 Seals usually give birth between late September and late November. This means you may be able to see seal pups around Scotland during this time, especially on the west coast #ScotlandHour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A5. With an easier time of day to get up for sunrise and sunset, autumn is a great time to hear and see birds around our regional parks. Fewer people around seems to bring nature out. You might just see the last of our ospreys before they head to Africa for winter. #ScotlandHour
A5: Hard to choose as there's so much amazing wildlife all year round, but we enjoy watching the seal colony by Connel Bridge near #Oban #Argyll. We've seen up to 49 of them in a big pile! #Scotlandhour @wildaboutargyll @obantweet
