Q1. Let’s pretend we’re actually in a pub tonight, commiserating over how challenging 2020 has been and supporting each other in person – what are you drinking and why? #scotlandhour

A1. I'd pick the most local craft beer that pub serves to support local business. And because I always try to sample new ones whenever I am in Scotland.

Or I'd treat myself to an 18yr, or older, Scotch. Because: 2020. #ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour

replying to @ScotlandHour @ScotlandHour A1 Whisky of course! But which one to choose? We've got so many here in Argyll. This is surely the first big battle between #TeamKintyre and #TeamIslayandJura #ScotlandHour

A1 sipping on a dram of @LagavulinWhisky beside a warm peat fire. The rich, smooth, smoky flavours transport us to the banks where the King of Malts is created. A little bit of luxury much needed as the nights draw in & we raise a toast to what 2020 should've been #ScotlandHour🥃

#ScotlandHour A1: We'd be drinking @whitetailgin with grapefruit and rosemary, or maybe @harrisdistiller with lime...can't choose!

A1: With so much choice across Midlothian and the Borders, we’d try everything (and then some).

If you’re looking to try local gins, we’d recommend Selkirk Distillers, Old Curiosity, Lilliard’s Gin, Kelso Gin Co, 1881 Gin, Kerr's Gin and of course Rule Gin #ScotlandHour

A1: And if you prefer locally brewed beer, how about Stewart Brewing, Born in the Borders, Tempest Brewing, Freewheeling Brew Co, the Broughton Brewery, Traquair Ale or Cross Borders Brewing Co?

With so much choice, you're bound to find your new favourite tipple! #ScotlandHour

Happy to participate in #ScotlandHour!

A1. Probably a pint and a dram - luckily Islay has both, so something from @IslayAles followed by one or two from our neighbours at Caol Ila and @Bunnahabhain. https://t.co/8gL2AK9VNd

A1 do enjoy a pint of @TennentsLager when out at the pub, especially on a hot day, a real thirst quenched! #ScotlandHour

A1. Since 1451 from Badvo Distillery has just won a Great Taste Award, & happens to be our editor’s personal favourite gin, we're going to go with that. You’ll be able to read about the award in our October issue, out tomorrow! Don’t miss it! https://t.co/kf9LkK4hHT #ScotlandHour

A1 #scotlandhour Well, as a Scottish #bluebadge tour guide it is all about #locationlocationlocation I like to drink the local gin. In #Glasgow it would have to be @MakarGin, in #Islay always @botanist, and here in #peebles would have to be @peebleshydro #1881Dist #pinkpavilion.
