A3 Gourock is home to the oldest heated swimming pool in Scotland situated at the salt water lido on the front of Gourock 🏊‍♀️. The lido was opened in 1909 and the water heating system was installed in 1969 #ScotlandHour @discinverclyde @GourockOL

Less well known, or at least very much less visited, are the Little Dutchman and The Dutchman's Cap (in Gaelic Bac Beag and Bac Mor) in the Treshnish Isles. This is a picture from them looking across to Lunga the main bird sanctuary island #scotlandhour A3

Taking advantage of #ScotlandHour to remind myself of some of the beautiful places I visited in 2017-2019. Can't wait to go back. Kirbuster Old Farm, Orkney. Mousa Broch, Shetland. Glengorm & Lochbuie stone circles, Isle of Mull.

A3. We have so many "secret beaches" on Islay. Machir Bay and Saligo are well known, but there's so much more to discover. #ScotlandHour @IslayandJura

A3 #ScotlandHour Argyll is one of the best places for growing and producing food due to the effects of the Gulf Stream, a deep ocean current of warm water from Mexico to Argyll brings us nutrient rich waters for seafood and the perfect balmy weather for growing fresh produce

A4. How stunning are our sites by Scotland's beautiful coasts and waters? We never tire of these views and we're excited to keep cherishing them in 2021 đź’™

A4. While we're quite happy where we are, we do like to admire the beautiful setting of some of our fellow castles in Scotland.

A4 #ScotlandHour Bridge of Allan to be near my folks and it’s a beautiful village within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Trossachs to the north. And there are plenty of wild swimming spots too!

This is the generator shed for the @NWMullCommunity micro hydro scheme nearby. Its well tucked away and not a lot of folk are aware of it - but it is regularly generating over 90KW of lovely renewable electricity #Scotlandhour A3

A4. I've always been fascinated with island life. I know it comes with its own challenges, but I'd love to live on an island like #Islay, #Lewis or #Colonsay one day. In the meantime, I'm channelling my love for #ScottishIsles into my new podcast @wildforscotland! #ScotlandHour

A3 I feel like St Kilda just isn't as well known as it should be. It was inhabited for 4000 years, the last islanders evacuated in 1930, it's home to a million seabirds. It's a hell of a ride over, but unmissable. #scotlandhour

A3: The Scotsman has an Art Deco cinema with a lovely bar that plays black and white movies. ^Sharon #ScotlandHour
