Q2. Do you have a favourite Scottish tradition to do at home?

A2. As family get togethers can't happen for a while yet, the new tradition is for special occasion dinners by Zoom.

There are some lovely recipes using #seasonal #Scottish produce in Issue 113 of East Lothian Life including
roast lamb with rosemary & garlic.

A2. We've been amazed and delighted at the traditions - new and old - which have kept us entertained during lockdown!

We've loved seeing painted rocks, Scarecrow trails and decorated hay bales (thanks @SAYFC! ) - love a bit of #baleart

A2 It's a tradition to *always* thank the driver when you get off the bus.

I can't really do that at home but let's all thank @on_lothianbuses who are doing a brilliant job of keeping key workers connected.

The recent anti-social behaviour is shameful.

A2. Our favourite Scottish tradition is probably a good dram of whisky after a brisk walk. Our friends at @ScotchWhiskyExp in #Edinburgh are doing virtual tastings, too, which we highly recommend 🥃 #ScotlandHour

A2: Grew up first-footing as part of family NYE celebrations. In England we were often the only ones, but everyone does it in Scotland! Lovely being out sharing good wishes with neighbours, then the #bagpipes come out & it turns into a street party! #ScotlandHour

A2. I'm all about #Coorie! We recently moved house and I've got Gabriella Bennett's "The Art of Coorie" handy for any decor or lifestyle decisions to be made. Nothing beats a coorie home and garden! #ScotlandHour

@thegreenbanksy puts on seasonal displays and @DrumBraeBusStop joins in the fun.

A2 There's no more uplifting way to connect with Scotland than listening to some traditional music. Create your own Scottish playlist and soak up the atmosphere. You can usually find something unique to every region https://t.co/prJ1upwnGR #ScotlandHour

A2 Having haggis, neeps, & tatties on Burn's Night or on St Andrew's Night with a wee dram or really just when you're needing something homely. When you come back from a holiday abroad its always nice to have a plate of mince and tatties makes you feel back at home #ScotlandHour

A2 I'm not entirely sure it's a tradition, but I've opted to keep the island economy afloat. I can't visit to spend my money, but I bought these delicious scallops from The Ethical Shellfish Company, and bought a tonne weight of biscuits. https://t.co/xgAWoOdema #ScotlandHour
